Introduction to Women’s Health Webinars
For people in Surrey, a number of free GP-guided online meetings are held to find out about the health conditions of women. The next webinar will take place on Tuesday evening and will discuss the polycystic ovary syndrome, the premenstrual syndrome and the preliminary dysphoric disorder.
Upcoming Webinars
Later this year, three more meetings will take place to discuss endometriosis, fertility, cervix screening and menopause. Vicky Williams, deputy director of women and children at Surrey Heartlands Intergrated Care System, said she hoped that the meetings would raise awareness of the conditions.
Raising Awareness
We are very pleased that members of the public can provide these free informative meetings to inform the conditions that affect the lives of many of us every day. The following webinars are planned for the coming months:
- September: endometriosis, strong menstrual bleeding in youth.
- October: fertility and neck screening
- November: menopause
Registration and Participation
The webinars are open to everyone and are operated by a family doctor who also answers questions. People can register through the event website.
