A Personal Experience

The “choice for yourself” is also the most annoying comment. It was bad, especially fifteen years ago. When the children were a bit smaller, during my vacation, my partner only took care of them and that went really well.

Receiving Comments

What I found striking is that the comment only came when I was gone. I was seen as a kind of degenerated mother, but when my partner was sitting abroad for a job, it remained calm. I had problems with it for the first time.

A Recommendation

I can really recommend everyone to go on vacation alone. Do it. Only a weekend, for example. And if you find it exciting, look for a place where there are many people. But go, choose yourself.
