Lindsay Lohan’s Career Shift

Lindsay Lohan has been making a comeback on screen in recent years, but she’s looking to switch up her roles. The actress has been working with Netflix, creating romantic comedies for the streaming platform.

Her Journey with Netflix

Lohan’s work relationship with Netflix began during the Covid-19 pandemic. She manifested her desire to work with the platform, writing it down in her diary. She has since starred in three romantic comedies for Netflix: Fall on Christmas (2022), Irish Wish (2024), and Our Little Secret (2024).

A Desire to Explore Other Genres

Although Lohan enjoys making films that bring people happiness and escapism, she feels that she can’t make the same type of films forever. She wants to explore other genres and take on new challenges. Lohan expressed her desire to make a change, stating that she’s ready to think about other projects beyond romantic comedies.

Upcoming Projects

Lohan is set to reprise her role as Anna Coleman in Disney’s More Freaky Friday, which premieres on August 8th. She’s also gearing up to star in the upcoming Hulu series Choose My Lies, currently in development by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. With these new projects, Lohan is taking steps towards diversifying her career and exploring new roles.

A New Chapter

As Lohan moves forward in her career, she’s looking to take on new challenges and explore different genres. With her upcoming projects, she’s ready to show her range and versatility as an actress. Lohan’s decision to switch up her roles is an exciting development in her career, and fans are eager to see what she has in store.
