Building a Strong Skin Care Foundation

Introduction to Flawless Skin

The first step to beautiful, flawless skin is ensuring a good basic routine of cleansing, moisturizing and protecting.

Step 1: Cleanse Your Skin

Dead skin cells can lead to dull skin. By cleansing you remove dead skin cells, bacteria and dirt. This will help you prevent skin blemishes and make your skin smoother. Do this once or twice daily.

Step 2: Hydrate Your Skin

Dry skin can look dull and ultimately even cause your skin barrier to function less well. The result? Red, blotchy skin with irritation and pimples. Therefore, hydration is essential for beautiful skin.
Preferably choose a moisturizer with moisturizing substances such as hyaluronic acid and glycerin, which also prevent your skin from losing moisture. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) and ceramides can provide additional support for your skin barrier.

Step 3: Protect Your Skin

UV radiation damages your skin barrier even though you want to keep it strong. You can also largely prevent other consequences of the sun – wrinkles, pigment spots, gray hair, redness, dryness, visible pores and enlarged sebaceous glands – by properly protecting your skin from the sun.
