Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 Comes to a Close

The Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 has concluded its activities with the distribution of the "Excellence Awards". The Arabian Manga Company, part of the Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG), was crowned with the Excellence in Publishing Award in the Digital Platforms category. This award recognizes the company’s innovation in developing digital content that enhances the reading experience in a modern way.

Winners of the Excellence Awards

Other winners of the Excellence Awards include King Abdulaziz Public Library, which won the award in the children’s category. The library was recognized for its efforts to provide content that inspires young people and instills in them a love of reading. "Takween" also won an award in the translation category for its creativity in transferring knowledge and expanding cultural bridges between languages.

More Award Winners

"Dar Tashkeel" for publishing and distribution won the award for its publishing excellence and contribution to enriching the book industry. "Dar Adab" for publishing and distribution also won an award in the Saudi content category for its outstanding highlighting of cultural identity and production of Saudi content that reflects the richness of the local community.

The Book Fair’s Success

The "Riyadh International Book Fair 2025" was organized by the Literary, Publishing and Translation Authority under the theme "Riyadh Reads". The event, which took place at the campus of Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University, attracted more than 2,000 publishers and local and international agencies from over 25 countries. Saudi, Arab, and international cultural agencies, committees, and institutions also participated in the event.

Cultural Ties and Exchange

This year, Uzbekistan was a guest at the exhibition, which is considered the largest cultural event in the region and one of the most important book fairs in the Arab world. The event aimed to consolidate the culture of reading and stimulate literary and cognitive interaction in society. The book fair presented a cultural program with over 200 events and various activities that highlighted the depth of Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage.
