Introduction to the Infinity Festival’s Monolith Awards
The Infinity Festival’s Monolith Awards are set to take place on October 9-10, 2026, at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and the Sony Pictures Imageworks Mid-Wilshire Campus in Los Angeles. This year’s festival, led by founder and CEO Mark Lieber and chief creative officer Adam Newman, aims to promote the intersection of entertainment, technology, and gaming.
Honoring Mark Mothersbaugh with the Lifetime Achievement Award
Mark Mothersbaugh will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Monolith Awards, recognizing his achievements that transcend traditional categories. The honor will be presented on Friday, October 9, 2026. Lieber and Newman stated, "We are thrilled to honor Mark Mothersbaugh with the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Monolith Awards. About Mark Mothersbaugh
Mothersbaugh is a conceptual artist and composer who co-founded the rock group DEVO. He has scored 150 films, television shows, video games, and hundreds of commercials through his multimedia company Mutato Muzika. Additionally, he has hosted 165 visual and audio art exhibitions and earned his doctorate in humane letters from Kent State University, his alma mater.

The Monolith Awards Ceremony
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Emmy and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Paul Debevec, Chief Research Officer of Eyeline Studios. The event is presented by HP, NVIDIA, and AMD. The Monolith Awards have refined their categories to create a series of awards that will serve as a benchmark for the future development of the industry.
