Introduction to the Program
A unique program in Austria is helping Ukrainian ex-prisoners of war heal from their traumatic experiences. The program, which lasts for one week, combines mountain climbing with trauma therapy.
The Alpine Retreat
The retreat, held in the Austrian Alps, brings together 14 Ukrainian ex-pows who have been affected by war, captivity, and separation. The program is directed by other veterans who understand the challenges faced by these soldiers and their families.
