Box Office Boom in Great Britain

The cash register events in Great Britain in September 2025 saw a significant rise of 18% compared to the previous year, making a strong recovery from a slow August and surpassing the numbers from 2024 by 9%. The total turnover for September 2025 was just over 71 million GBP, an 18% increase from September 2024.

The publication of highly representative titles in the past year, such as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, was surpassed by two decent figures this year. Warner Bros’ horror The Magic: Last Rites became the highest introduction in the Conjure Up universe with £16.8m, and Universal’s Downton Abbey: The Great Finale took £14.7m.
