Introduction to the Collection

When the show started, what they immediately felt was the impression of luxury – the good way of luxury. What could be an Italian Hermés in a way. There was a lot of leather. The first outfit was, I would not say commercially, but for the customers: portable, simple, beautiful. But pretty customers. Then, slow and steady, it became more and more creative. It was really brilliant and I think she was very successful.

The Luxury and Femininity of the Collection

It’s a little more feminine. There were amazing colors. Every look has a bag. I think the girls and the boys looked very luxurious and good in their outfits: the boy wasn’t like a handbag, do you know what I mean? And what was fun, and you always need something strange at Bottega, the shoes were: there were many clogs, mostly in white, and this gave the bad taste, but made it more interesting. It was a very good show.

Sensuality and Texture

This collection was so sensual and full of strange textures. My head turned back and forth and tried to catch all the complicated details that flew past. The perspective of a woman designer hits really differently. There was a beautiful, somehow in the past of Bottega Veneta, but the designer’s stamps were also omnipresent and tangible.

The Perfect Fit for the Brand

The designer feels like the perfect fit to develop from what was previously built. There was chic tailoring, playful textures and colors with joyful movement. The designer has tailored their feeling of color and tailor-made silhouettes with the artistic world in which the customer lives.

A Confident and Elegant Collection

The debut collection was a confident and elegant collection as a whole. The ready-to-wear was particularly strong and balanced chic sophistication with outstanding fashion pieces, which felt soft and yet powerful and extremely desirable. Some of the parts carried beautiful movement and added a feeling of fluid. Craftsmanship occurred in every detail that was underlined by a refined female sensitivity. The bags were another highlight.

A Strong Start for the Brand

It felt like the strongest debut by the Milan Fashion Week. The designer presented their new vision of the brand and it was a really great fresh start. There were beautiful intrecciato pieces, liquid silver clogs that felt very modern, and precise tailoring. The styling touches and the inventions of the Lametta skirts and tops were also notable. The pieces were brought to life on the runway and became organic matter. Everything was so chic.
