The New York Town in Scarsdale recently made headlines after it was appointed America’s richest suburb with a striking average household income of $601,193 per year. In a new study on Big Apple ‘Burbs, Tony Town became out when it came to recovering the title "New York’s safest and richest suburbs".
Methodology of the Study
Goobanking council analyzed data from the US people counting, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Area index "Livability Score" and various other sources to "areas in which high income with high budgets corresponds to low crime and high capacity".
Ranking of the Suburbs
Scarsdale took the 5th place and took four suburbs in Nassau County on Long Island on the post. The Rockville Center took the top position based on the strength of its liveliness, the low property rates and violent crime as well as high household income. The average annual household income in the Long Island -Enlave is $202,529, while the annual living costs are a comparatively low $101,463.
Top 5 Suburbs
The neighboring city of Lynbrook was second in New York during the Gobanking Council, while Long Beach and Garden City, also in Nassau County, took our third and fourth places. Scarsdale was the fifth and richest suburb in New York and the highest entry into the West Chestian County.
Comparison of Suburbs
While the residents of West Chesters may make angry that the suburbs of Long Island have taken out the four top places, they can easily rest if they know that more suburbs have created the top 20 list in a total of a total. Westchester County puts 11 suburbs in the list compared to nine from Nassau County.

- Scarsdale, New York: Score of 3,4647, violent crime rate per 1000 of 0.0568, real estate crime rate per 1000 of 3.4087, livability of 69, average household income of $601,193, and annual living costs of $142,654.
Conclusion
While Scarsdale certainly has the highest average annual household income on the list of the New York suburbs, it was reduced overall by a lower life value. The ranking of the suburbs is based on various factors including livability, crime rates, and household income.
