Diversity Dance Group Expands to Birmingham

Introduction to Diversity

A dance group that rose to fame after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent is set to open a brand new dance studio in the city center of Birmingham. The studio, located on Icknield Street in the Jewellery Quarter, will offer a range of dance classes for individuals of all ages and skill levels, from children as young as four to adult experts.

Facilities and Classes

The tailor-made studio will provide a unique space for students to learn and grow, with classes in street dance, commercial, and contemporary dance. The studio will be led by members of the Diversity core team, who will teach classes and provide guidance to students. In addition to regular classes, the studio will also host annual productions and offer access to special masterclasses for students.

Grand Opening

The Birmingham studio will hold an open day on Saturday, October 11th, with classes commencing on Monday, October 13th. This will give prospective students the opportunity to tour the facilities, meet the instructors, and get a feel for the classes on offer.

Community Focus

According to Ashley Banjo from Diversity, the group’s focus has always been on community and inclusivity. "What I love about Diversity is that we have never been about auditions," he said. "It’s always been about the community and everyone who comes to learn and train with us." The studio will reflect this ethos, with classes and activities designed to be welcoming and accessible to all.

Excitement for the New Venture

Ashley Banjo expressed his excitement about the new studio, saying, "We can’t wait to open our doors in Birmingham." The new studio will be the second location for Diversity, who already have a studio in Southend. The group is eager to bring their unique brand of dance instruction and community spirit to the city of Birmingham.
