Introduction to Nanushka
London played a significant role in shaping the prospects for fashion, according to Sandra Sandor, co-founder and creative director of Nanushka. After graduating from London College of Fashion, she founded the brand 20 years ago. The brand’s Mayfair flagship, which is five years old, is described as the most important retail location.
Nanushka’s Debut at London Fashion Week
Despite the brand’s strong connection to London, Nanushka had never shown on London Fashion Week (LFW) until now. Spring/summer 2026 marks the brand’s debut. This decision was strategic and had been part of the brand’s plans for some time. Péter Baldascti, co-founder of Nanushka and husband of Sandra Sandor, explains that the changes in the British Fashion Council and London Fashion Week made this the right moment to debut.
Expansion and Growth
Baldaszti also set up the Holding Group of the brand, Vanguards Group, in 2020. The group now includes the Knitwear label Aeron based in Budapest and the contemporary brand Sunnei, in addition to Nanushka. This expansion showcases the brand’s growth and commitment to the fashion industry. With its debut at LFW, Nanushka is taking a significant step forward in its journey, solidifying its position in the fashion world.
