Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle Breaks Records
The Japanese juggernaut, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle, continues its ascent, cutting through milestones with ease. With an estimated $555 million worldwide, it has become not only the highest anime film of all time worldwide but also the greatest Japanese film ever on a global level.
Estimated Earnings and Exchange Rates
The estimated $555 million will likely increase once the final figures are released on Monday. It’s worth noting that exchange rates have shifted significantly since the last Demon Slayer feature, Mugen Zug. While Mugen Zug made almost 41 billion yen in Japan, Infinity Castle is at almost 40 billion yen, but its earnings are much higher in dollars.

This success marks a significant growth in anime popularity outside of its traditional bases. The film’s worldwide earnings are a testament to the increasing appeal of anime among global audiences.
