Introduction to Simone Rocha’s Fashion Brand

Simone Rocha was smart to ensure that her brand offers a range of prices to cater to every customer’s budget. Her collection includes a puff-sleeved biker jacket priced at 2,695 GBP and Jacquard socks for 50 GBP, with most items falling between 400 and 600 GBP.

Brand Strategy and Customer Engagement

Rocha explains that from the beginning, she included pieces in her collection that could become incubators of the brand universe, making it easier for people to engage with her brand. These pieces, such as accessories, were designed to work for her retailers and showcase her brand identity. The Popel-Popel jersey, for example, is a core piece that embodies her brand’s essence.

Collaborations and Expansion

In addition to her own label, Rocha has collaborated with other brands, such as Moncler Genius Project from 2018 to 2020 and H&M in 2021. She also took over Jean Paul Gaultier Couture in January 2024. These collaborations have helped expand her brand from an indie label to an international brand.

Men’s Fashion Line and Priorities

In September 2022, Rocha launched her men’s fashion line, which is one of her priorities for the year. She will showcase about 10 looks from this collection, followed by a 30-member look book. Rocha believes that whether it’s men’s or women’s fashion, it’s all an expression of the same brand, and her job is to provide customers with an outlet for self-expression.

Commitment to London

Despite her growing fame, Rocha remains committed to London, where she showcases her collections. She has had opportunities to work in Paris and Milan but chooses to stay in London, where she can organize the best shows for her brand.

Recent Achievements

Rocha has also published her first monograph with Rizzoli in October 2024, a testament to her growing success and recognition in the fashion industry. Her ability to balance her own label with collaborations and expansion into new areas, such as men’s fashion, has solidified her position as a leading fashion designer.
