The Director’s Background
Yoo Jae-in is a graduate of the Korean Academy of Film Arts, and "On the Way to" is her final project. She has previously directed several short films, including "Happyhappy Cooktime", "Hey how are you?", and "Return to the sender". Her short film "Ghwa the last name" won the best short film award at the Blue Dragon Awards in 2023.
International Sales and Distribution
The film’s international sales will be handled by Hive Filmworks, a Seoul-based film production and distribution company. They will be presenting the film to international buyers at the Asian Film and Contents Market (ACFM), which will take place alongside the Busan festival from September 20 to September 23.
