Introduction to Lauren Sánchez Bezos’ Fashion Inspiration
Lauren Sánchez Bezos not only flies helicopters, but she also shares fashion inspiration. The designer presented her fashion presentation in 2026 in a series of elaborate vignettes.
The Inspiration Behind the Collection
The idea for the collection came from a vintage Vogue picture of ten models in Jacquard dresses, which was sent to Stacey, the founder, creative director, and CEO of Alice + Olivia, by Lauren Sánchez Bezos. The picture was set in an elegant blue, gold-plated age room, and Stacey was inspired to recreate the set for her spring 2026 presentation in Manhattan’s Surrogacy Court.
The Fashion Presentation
On Saturday, the designer presented her line on a tedious afternoon party in the historic building. Hundreds of guests sipped on cocktails and visited a number of elaborate tableaus in which models posed in subject-related vignettes. In the curved room under the stairs, the Mise-en-scène, which is based on Sánchez Bezos’ clipping, was located.
The Guest List
The event was attended by dozens of stars, including Brooks Nader, Ashlee Simpson, Sarah Pidgeon, Mary Holland Nader, Grace Ann Nader, Sarah Jane Jane Nicky Hilton, Ava Dash, Jenny Mollen, and more. Uconn Hoops Champs Azzi Fudd and KK Arnold also posted at the event.
The Collection’s Theme
The pioneering, fearless American is the overarching theme of this Alice + Olivia collection. The collection was inspired by the fact that it is the 250th anniversary of the United States, and the designer wanted to do something that thinks over time over the intersection of fashion, art, culture, and even industry. Every set on the show represents a different part of American history.
The Most Dramatic Piece
The most dramatic of all was the Lady Liberty dress. With a spiked crown on her head and a torch in hand, the model stood on the marble bar with a view of the celebrations. Her 20-foot high flower dress, printed with butterflies and roses over the entrance, was a monument to the imagination.
