Introduction to the 77th Prime Time Emmy Awards
The 77th prime time Emmy Awards started in Los Angeles, with A-listers climbing to Peacock Theater to celebrate the best on TV. The event was filled with glamour as stars showcased their unique styles on the red carpet.
Fashion Highlights of the Night
Red seemed to be an integral part of most stars’ outfits, with Sydney Sweeney and Selena Gomez coming out in bright ruby ensembles, while others opted for all-black outfits, adding to the glamour of the golden age. Some stars decided to wear clothes from the late Giorgio Armani, the legendary designer who died on September 4 of this year. Cate Blanchett, Keri Russell, Molly Gordon, and moderator Kristen Bell were among those who honored Armani with his designs.
Best-Dressed Stars of the Night
It was not just the women whose ensembles turned heads; wonderfully tailored tuxedos stole the show, from Colman Domingo’s powder blue suit to Seth Rogen’s rust velvet tux. Here are some of the best-dressed stars of the night:
Cate Blanchett in Privé Closet
Cate Blanchett escaped with a midnight black overall with a deep V-neck and a sheer crystal cladding. The elegant, structured overall came from the Couture collection of Armani Privé/Winter 2025. The 56-year-old actress was nominated for the outstanding leading actress in a limited series for her work in The Disclaimer on Apple TV+.
Colman Domingo in Valentino
The 55-year-old Colman Domingo looked stunning in a Valentino Polka Dot shirt, powder blue blazer, and scarf, which he combined with brown, exhibited pants. His suit jacket was decorated with dripping silver diamond and matched the tassels of his clothing scarf. Domingo did not hold back on the shine and glamour, wearing rings and a clock from Boucheron.
Sydney Sweeney in Oscar de la Renta
The old Hollywood glamour seemed to be the memo for most celebrities at the prices. The 28-year-old actress Sydney Sweeney emerged in a silky, red, and coherent Oscar de la Renta dress. The Euphoria star was one of the moderators of the evening. She combined her dress with a diamond chain with 120 carat and a 40-carat marquise drop from Lorraine Schwartz.
Aimee Lou Wood in McQueen
Aimee Lou Wood also channeled the fifties Hollywood in a bluntary pink-pillar dress with a treasure. The McQueen dress showed a fauxes brh detail that came out of the neckline in a cherry red color. The 31-year-old star of The White Lotus and the supporting actress in a drama series candidate combined the dress with matching pink pointed pumps by Stuart Weitzman.
Catherine Zeta-Jones in Yara Shoemaker
Catherine Zeta-Jones wore a breathtaking black dress by Yara Shoemaker. The 55-year-old actress turned her head in a mandatory, semi-cheesy dress with a dramatic spring corset, complicated lace, and velvet pipe lines, exuding a Gothic glamour on an ode to the screen, Morticia Addams.
Jenna Ortega in Givenchy
On the other hand, the star took off its usual goth-inspired style from Wednesday and decided on a black slip rock and a decorated jewel top from Sarah Burton’s debut Givenchy collection. The 22-year-old Jenna Ortega did not leave the top to speak and ended her look with Pomellato-Nudo-earrings, wrestling, and a gem cuff.
Michelle Williams in Chanel
The 45-year-old Michelle Williams looked ethereal in an asymmetrical vintage-Chanel dress. Dying for sex and outstanding actress in a candidate of the Limited Series chose the wedding dress from the Haute Couture Spring 2000 collection and combined it with a slim diamond chain and a soft, peach-colored makeup.
Seth Rogen in Etro
Seth Rogen left Etro in a tobacco brown velvet. Combined with a suitable silk-pebbled tie and a crispy white shirt, the 43-year-old actor combined the autumn look with thick, helpful hexagonal glasses. The star recorded an Emmy for the best actor in a comedy series for his role in the studio. "This is amazing. I couldn’t wrap my head for this event that I literally didn’t prepare anything," he said, while accepting the award. “I’ve never won anything in my life."
