Introduction to Ive’s New Album
The K-Pop girl group Ive has shared their favorite songs from their new album, Ive Secret, and their favorite choreography of its lead single "Xoxz". In an exclusive social clip, all members of IVE, consisting of Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo, shared their top selections from their fourth EP. The lead single of the six-track album, "Xoxz", is contagious and offers a new sound, a natural progression from their last single "attitude".
Favorite Songs from the Album
While "attitude" was a confident hymn, "Xoxz" is a melodic hip-pop track. Yujin, the 22-year-old leader of the group, says the title track is her favorite from the album. Leeseo, the youngest member of the group at the age of only 18, agrees, and both choose the song as number one. Wonyoung also expressed her love for the song, particularly its choreography, and added that she contributed to writing the lyrics for the song.

Gaeul, 22, and Rei, 21, both choose "[Heart] Beats" as their favorite song on the album. The dance-pop track offers a unique beat and showcases the group’s energetic performance. Liz, 20, selects the groovy dance-pop track "Midnight Kiss" as her top choice. The singer also contributed to writing the lyrics for the song.
The Group’s Journey and Upcoming Tour
The group spoke about their journey from debut in 2021 and their upcoming 2024 World Tour. "During our concerts when we are on tour, we can meet the dive [official name for the group’s fans] face-to-face and I can really feel that they love our services and us as a group," said Gaeul. "I want to work hard and give them back this love." The group’s dedication to their fans and their passion for music are evident in their new album and upcoming tour.
