Amazon Prime Closes Exclusive Perk
Amazon seems to have closed a first-class advantage that has broken down its purchasing calculations at the cash register. The advantage was previously available for all Amazon Prime customers but is no longer active.
What Was the Perk
The perk, known as More & Save, was funded by Amazon as a central advantage of a Prime membership. It would cut invoices up to 15% and was an exclusive first-class perk. The scheme used a special purchase and save storefront with qualified items, including food, cat food, toilet articles, household goods, and even clothing.
Closure of the Perk
However, if you try to navigate to the storefront, you are simply hit with a warning that shows that the transport is no longer active. According to the Amazon website, the program started on July 5, 2024, and ended on August 27, 2025 – a little more than a week ago. Amazon’s notice of termination is simply: "The promotion has ended." And it shows a yellow warning triangle to draw your attention.
Unclear Future
It is unclear whether the advantage has disappeared permanently or whether it returns at a later date. The benefit is still listed on an Amazon website that shows all Prime advantages available for British users.
Amazon Prime Membership
Amazon Prime currently costs £8.99 in Great Britain, which works out to £107.88 per year. Or you can pay annual membership at once to get a fee of £95.
Other Prime Advantages
Of course, there are many other Amazon Prime advantages beyond free and fast shipping. One of the less known advantages is a free 12-month membership for Deliveroo Silver Plus. This gives you free delivery from select restaurants for orders over £15 – plus some shops for orders of £25 or more. You will also receive some exclusive offers and discounts.
Reduced Cinema Tickets
Another advantage that you may miss is the reduced cinema tickets from Amazon. Prime members can pick up a pair of tickets for £10 to Odeon Cinemas once a month. And instead, you can get two upgraded Odeon Luxe tickets for £15 – that’s £7.50 per person.
Unlimited Photo Storage
Amazon also has a practical photo memory. You can store unlimited images in Amazon Photos for free if you are a Prime member. Videos are limited to 5 GB storage space, but you can save as many photos as you want in full resolution as long as your Prime membership is active.
