Summer Vacation Blues

The Great Escape

The summer vacation is the order of the day for many workers with a large red pen. Get it off and empty your head. At least they would think that; More than ten percent of the Dutch make the decision to look for another job during their vacation.

Post-Holiday Motivation

The motivation is also difficult to find after the holidays. More than four out of ten people return with a large restraint. And it doesn’t stop here. Almost half of the Dutch arises an inadequate question if you want to go back to work after a wonderful vacation.

A Desire for Change

During the holidays, the desire for change for a large part of the employees grows. For example, 16 percent say that they are dissatisfied with the current work. One part looks at the fact that no work has to change at this point. Another part would like that, but would not find any other job.
