Introduction to the New Judge
YouTuber, rapper, and boxer KSI has been announced as a new judge on Great Britain’s Got Talent. He will be replacing Bruno Tonioli, who has confirmed that he will not be returning for the 19th series due to scheduling conflicts. Tonioli is also a judge on the US show Dancing with the Stars.
KSI’s Excitement to Join the Show
KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olatunji, expressed his gratitude and happiness to be part of the Britain’s Got Talent team for another season. He had a great time as a guest judge last season, where he used his golden buzzer to send winner Harry Moulder through to the next round. KSI said, "I am so grateful and happy to be part of the British Got Talent team for another season. I had such a good time last year and I’m looking forward to seeing another top talent. I’m full of energy, ready to go, and can’t wait to make this the most entertaining BGT season ever."
About KSI
KSI is one of seven members of Sidemen, a YouTube collective with over 22 million subscribers. He will be joining returning judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon on the show.
Bruno Tonioli’s Departure
Bruno Tonioli said, "After three incredible series, unfortunately, I had to step away from a job that opened me up to so much incredible talent and step back from BGT as a judge." He will be missed by the team, but he is looking forward to filming a new series of Dancing with the Stars in the USA. Tonioli praised KSI, saying he will be a fantastic judge, having already proven himself last year.
The Future of Britain’s Got Talent
The BGT team thanked Tonioli for his work and described him as a brilliant judge. Great Britain’s Got Talent will resume filming with the next series on ITV in 2026. With KSI on board, the show is expected to be just as exciting and entertaining as previous seasons.
