Plot Overview
Circle follows two soldiers from opposing nations who are stationed in a joint barracks at a bleak border. As they navigate their identities, loyalties, and the absurdity of their situation, their isolation slowly gives way to an unfathomable nightmare that blurs the border between friend and enemy.
The Filmmaker’s Background
Circle is the feature debut of London-born filmmaker Hudson. His short film Joy to people premiered at the BFI London Film Festival and won the audience award at Rotterdam IFFR. Hudson has also shot music videos for notable artists such as Radiohead, Bonobo, and James Blake, as well as brands like Nike and Apple. He has received several awards, including a Prime Time Emmy, the best young director at Cannes Lions, and the best director at UKMVA.

The film is produced by 2 a.m.’s Kevin Rowe, Thomas Bannister, Riaz Rizvi, and Rik Green. The cast features twin brothers Luke Tittensor and Elliott Tittensor, known for their roles in House of the Dragon and Silent Witness, as well as Neil Maskell, who has appeared in Kidnapped.
