About the Film
Nice Day is currently in post-production and marks the seventh collaboration between Micro_scope and Quebecois filmmaker Philippe Falardeau. The film is based on Alain Farah’s book Mileage secrets, a thousand driven and tells the story of Alain, who is getting married to Virginie, but is anxious about the upcoming reunification of his divorced parents. His fear is heightened by concerns for his cousin and best man, Édouard, who has some dodgy dealings.
Cast and Crew
The film features a talented cast, including Neil Elias, Hassan Mahbouba, and Rose-Marie Perreault, who play characters in the French, Arabic, and English-language production. The cast also includes Hiam Abou Chedid, George Khabbaz, Rose-Anne Déry, and Paul Ahmmarani. Micro_scope’s Luc Déry is producing the film alongside his business partner, Kim McCraw.
