Heat Wave Warning Expanded
An alarm for the yellow heat was expanded in the next week, which affects seven regions in England in the middle of the fourth heat wave of the summer. The warnings are on Wednesday until 6 p.m. the next Monday from 6 p.m. and for Yorkshire and the Humber, the East Midlands, West Midland, the east of England, London, the southeast and southwest.
Regions Affected
The warnings mean significant effects on health and social care expectations due to high temperatures, including a possible increase in deaths in older people or those with existing health conditions. The warnings should end on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Weather Forecast
Heavy rain and thunder met London and Kent on Wednesday afternoon, and the Met office said it was likely that the southeast would continue to experience thick clouds and a risk of severe thunder shower overnight. North-England and Northern Ireland were expected to have isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening thunderstorms.
Rainfall Warning
From 2 p.m. to midnight, the Met Office gave a warning for most of Scotland for most of Scotland with the potential for up to 30 mm rain in less than an hour and 50 mm on site as well as hail and gusty winds.

Future Outlook
"There will still be a few showers on Thursday, especially in the north, and it will not be as hot, but the temperatures in Eastern and Southeast England will still be superior between 29 and 30 ° C," said a meteorologist. "Most of the Friday looks good, with very hot sunshine in the south and southeast, where the temperatures could reach 31 ° C while Scotland will see heights in the low 20s."
Drought Status
The national drought group, to which the MET Office, water company and others belong – met on Tuesday when it was a "nationally significant incident" in England. Five areas remain in the drought and six more are in the longer dry weather status. The group said it was the driest six months until July since 1976, and the youngest heatwave had exerted more pressure on the water supply.
Water Restrictions
There remains a ban on Hosepipe in Yorkshire, while Thames Water, South East Water and Southern Water banned in certain postcodes.
