A big measure of a game is when it is so funny that you lose track of time. This is exactly what happened with Nintendo’s revised Super Mario Party Jamboree, which kept me and six friends awake until 1 a.m. If you have children, this is an absolute dream family game.

Spelled beams rolled me directly on me, so I had to handle quickly or jump into the air to avoid them. Another had bread from an oven shouted at me – but only once it was perfectly baked. Too early? No coins!

You can enjoy a kind of "Grand Prix" of the mini-game series so that you earn points after a few rounds and then see who is ahead. If you play four people at the same time, it’s very high energy.
