Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026

Milan Fashion Week is set to take place from September 23 to September 29, featuring 55 physical and four digital shows, a significant increase from the previous season.

New Creative Directions

This season’s fashion week is highly anticipated, with several major brands debuting new collections under fresh creative direction. Gucci will present an intimate show on Tuesday, showcasing its expected debut collection. The event will explore the brand’s past, present, and future, making it a highlight of the season.

Upcoming Debuts

Simone Bellotti will make his debut at Jil Sander on Wednesday, following Glenn Martens’ debut at Margiela during Couture Week. Louise Trotter will also stage her first show at Bottega Veneta on Saturday afternoon. These debuts are expected to bring significant changes to the fashion landscape.

Notable Absences

Versace is noticeably absent from the official schedule, despite plans to stage a runway show under new creative director Dario Vitale. The brand’s absence has sparked rumors about its plans, but no official calendar slot has been allocated.

Returning Brands

In addition to the debuts, several prominent brands will return to the schedule, including Fendi, Prada, Ferragamo, Moschino, and Max Mara. Diesel will also host a show on Tuesday afternoon, while David Koma will stage his second show at Blumarine.

New Additions

The Knwls brand from London will make its Milan Fashion Week debut on Wednesday evening, potentially signaling international expansion. DHRUV Kapoor, an Indian streetwear-inspired label, will also present its first collection on the womenswear calendar.

Closing the Week

Giorgio Armani will conclude the week with a runway show on Sunday, celebrating the brand’s 50th anniversary. This milestone event will be a fitting end to an exciting week of fashion in Milan.
