Couture Season Review
Introduction to the Season
This couture season exceeded our expectations well. Booklings like Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, Fendi, Givenchy, Alexis Mabille and Alexandre Vauthier may have been absent with many houses in the transition, but it turns out that there is always a bright side.
The Positive Outcome
The lack of some large brands has created space for smaller brands that can shine. This shift has opened up opportunities for lesser-known designers to make their mark on the fashion world.
Debut Highlights
And then of course there were the debuts. The debuts were good, with notable mentions including Jonathan Anderson’s debut at Dior, Celine, and Margiela, which was great.
Outlook on the Future
The overall sentiment is positive, with a sense of excitement about what comes next. The absence of big brands has paved the way for new talent to emerge, and the future of couture looks promising.
