About Absolution
Absolution follows Neeson as an aging gangster who tries to reconnect with his children and make amends for the mistakes of his past. However, things take a turn when he realizes that the criminal underworld will not willingly let go of its grip. The film was a box office bomb, earning only $4.2 million. The feature has a 55% Rotten Tomatoes rating, while fans gave it a rating of 32%. In light of the film gaining new traction, the Rotten Tomatoes rating may not have done the film justice.

The Naked Gun
This year, Neeson will return to slapstick comedy in The Naked Gun, the fourth edition in the franchise, in which he stars as Frank Drebin Jr. The action comedy is directed by Akiva Schaffer, who co-wrote the script with Gregor and Doug Mand. The feature recently released a trailer, and fans are excited to see Neeson being violent, accident-prone, and as ridiculous as his predecessor, Spoof King Leslie Nielsen. Also starring in the film are Pamela Anderson as Beth, Paul Walter Hauser as Capt. Ed Hocken Jr., Kevin Durand, and Danny Huston.
