Introduction to the Live-Action Remake
Swallowing and toothless are finally back in the cinemas with Dean DeBlois’ live-action remake of his charming DreamWorks fantasy hit, How to Train Your Dragon. Before fans see the film on the big screen, BoxLunch ensures that they are really dressed for a trip to the Isle of Berk. A massive new collection of clothing and accessories is now available from the pop culture retailer, including T-shirts, jerseys, clothes, baseball caps, and much more, for those who want to represent their favorite night fury.
The Collection
All elements curated for this How to Train Your Dragon collection are tailored to the themes of the films, from bravery and honor to friendship between humans and animals and the overcoming of tradition to find empathy for others. Of course, they are also inspired by the legendary dragon and human duo of Hiccup and Toothless, with colors that are reminiscent of both and motifs that connect the two. The Night Fury ranges from fearsome to friendly on the garments, with a hockey stream and a long-sleeved shirt that highlights its struggle and flight, while other objects, such as the T-shirts and hoodie, show the dragon in its playful and peaceful approval. For those who are looking for a more subtle and stylish way to express their dragon affinity, the dress, vest, and sweater with green, golden, and white designs bring Toothless to decorative vines.
Accessories and More
With regard to the accessories, the new line also has a green baseball cap with the head of the Night Fury and light green eyes as a logo. It is made in such a way that it matches the rest of the set and is the perfect way to top off any How to Train Your Dragon clothing next to some dragon flakes. The set completes a few Night Fury mini backpacks and zippered pockets, of which an inflammatory Toothless fish has on some fishing. All of these are wearing BoxLunch’s already deep selection of How to Train Your Dragon items, including residential culture, collective figures, nightwear, and more.
The Live-Action Remake
15 years after the first introduction of audiences to the Isle of Berk, The live-action remake brings one of the most popular stories from DreamWorks to another medium to give it a new life for another generation of spectators. In order to avoid the mistakes of other remakes, it brought back many important contributors who contributed to this, including John Powell and, of course, Gerard Butler as Viking boss Stoick of the vastness. While the film tells the same story of Hiccup (Maurer Thames), the unpleasant son of Stoick, who opposed the Viking tradition and befriended a dragon, DeBlois had real reasons to return to Berk in a new way. An affair with a large budget that brought the fictional country and its beasts to life meant that the story with a feeling of amazement, adrenaline, and danger was to provide that he has always longed to call his dragons.
Reception and Cast
Although it was not as high as the animated trilogy in the eyes of critics, How to Train Your Dragon still sits at 77% on Rotten Tomatoes, with high praise for the loving attention to detail, the effects, and the awe of the original history of DeBlois and his team. Colliders Maggie Lovitt called it a "breath of fresh air" in her review of 9/10 and welcomed it as "the Gold Star example for how to do a live-action remake." The love of reviewers is also a talented new lineup, including Butler, including The Black Phone Thames and The Last of Us alum Nico Parks next to Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Tevaldwyn, Peter Serafinowicz, and Ruth Codd.
