Introduction to Wicked: Forever
Prepare to change your life forever today, as the debut trailer for Wicked: Forever has arrived in the western sky. If you missed the reporting on the Jobs men project, which has been dancing in cinemas since the first half of last year, then you are lucky because the advertising has officially left the train station. In the Emerald City, the audience invites you to jump on board and watch the last chapter in the history of two best friends who are separated by the difficult circumstances that live in their way.
The Storyline of Wicked: Forever
As the trailer suggests, the next film will be showered in pink and green with as much spectacle as the first floating and dripping in drama when we catch up with Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba later this year on November 21. In the footsteps of the Broadway musical that came before it, Wicked: Forever will pick up after Elphaba flies through the sky and sings her curtain stage "defies gravity". It is now an enemy of the city of OZ, with the great and powerful magician herself (Jeff Goldblum) and Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) on the indictment to track them down and put them in court.
New Music in Wicked: For Good
The audience awaits new music in ‘Wicked: For Good’. When it was announced that Wicked would be divided into two separate parts, fans of the original Broadway musical were a bit confused. The stage show takes only three hours (including the 15-minute break), while the term of the first film is only five minutes less. It certainly didn’t need to be transferred to two separate installments, but to fill the second act, the team fell into some new melodies. Classics like "As long as you belong to me" and "Not a good deed" will still be there, but the composer of the musical, Stephen Schwartz, entered to achieve some extras for the cinematic adaptation.
A Sneak Peek into the Film
Previously a song teased Erivo said that she worked with the legendary Schwartz, "I don’t know if you are ready. I mean, I love the song and I remember when we filmed it, the line-up and the crew cried. So I don’t know. And I don’t know if that is only because they were emotional that day or that is what the song is doing." For the time being, take a look at the trailer Wicked: Forever and stream the first part of the story on Peacock.
