Introduction to the Upcoming Film
The Crawley family is back in action in the highly anticipated movie, Downton Abbey: The Great Finale. The first official teaser trailer was released on Monday, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
The Teaser Trailer
The teaser trailer shows returning actors Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Allen Leech, Laura Carmichael, Elizabeth McGovern, and Harry Hadden-Paton reprising their roles. The trailer begins with the group at the races, where Jim Carter’s character, Mr. Carson, welcomes participants to 1930. It also features newcomer Dominic West in a tuxedo at a lavish bash in London, and Mary (Dockery) looking stunning in a bright red dress and tiara as she steps out of a car in front of photographers.

The third and final film boasts an impressive cast, including Penelope Wilton, Paul Giamatti, Phyllis Logan, Raquel Cassidy, Brendan Coyle, Kevin Doyle, Michael Fox, Joanne Froggatt, Robert James-Collier, Sophie McShera, Lesley Nicol, Alessandro Nivola, Arty Froushan, Joely Richardson, Paul Copley, and Douglas Reith. Downton Abbey: The Great Finale, directed by Simon Curtis and written by Julian Fellowes, is set to be released on September 12th. Fans of the series won’t have to wait much longer to see their favorite characters on the big screen one last time.
