Sony Music Vision has unveiled a new documentary about pop superstar Lisa, showcasing her life and career. The documentary, directed by Sue Kim, follows Lisa as she pursues her solo career, including the release of her debut album, Alter Ego, which debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 and reached number one on the Top Album Sales chart. The documentary also shows Lisa performing her first solo set at Coachella and appearing in the third season of The White Lotus.

Apart from her solo efforts, Lisa will be going on tour with Blackpink this summer. Kim, who recently worked on A24’s The Last of the Maritime Women, won a New York Women in Film and TV award after the film premiered at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival. She also produced the Apple TV+ docuseries K-Pop Idol. The documentary is produced by Morgan Neville and Caitrin Rogers for Tremolo Productions, as well as Sue Kim and Courtney Crockett for Saltwater Productions.
Sony Music Vision’s Upcoming Slate
The first official showcase of Sony Music Vision comes as the company has increased its content in recent years, with recent films such as Clever Lives and Luther: Never Too Much. The company also showed a teaser for its recently announced concert film, Oasis Reunion Tour, and Frank Marshall presented footage for his upcoming Barbra Streisand documentary.
