Rox Motor, a worldwide brand for new energy vehicles, has announced a strategic partnership with W Motors, the leading manufacturer of high-performance vehicles in the UAE. The agreement signed at Make IT in the Emirates (Miite) 2025 is a significant milestone for enhancing regional production and supporting the industrial and sustainability goals of the UAE.
Production and Assembly
As part of this collaboration, Rox Motor will begin manufacturing its vehicles, starting with the new ROX 01, at W Motors’ new facility in Abu Dhabi. This step marks the first time Rox vehicles will be produced outside of China, reflecting a commitment to local adaptation and regional resilience.

National Initiatives and Sustainable Mobility
The partnership supports key national initiatives such as Operation 300 billion, Industry 4.0, and Net Zero by 2050, strengthening both companies’ roles in designing a sustainable and independent automotive ecosystem for the region.
Innovation and Technology Partnerships
In addition to local production efforts, Rox Motor is also accelerating innovation through strategic technology partnerships in the UAE. The company has entered into a cooperation with ENERCAP to promote high-performance battery cell applications in its product line and improve regional and global provision and operational efficiency.
Supply Chain and Material Innovation
Rox Motor has also signed an agreement with leading petrochemical company Borouge to jointly explore advanced polyolefin materials for automotive use, further strengthening the localized supply chain and supporting the UAE’s 300-billion strategy. The Borouge collaboration brings advanced polyolefin innovation, enabling lighter, more durable interiors and exteriors tailored to everyday use, from busy city roads to open deserts.
