Conan O’Brien has been cast in the role of Smarty Pants in the upcoming Disney and Pixar film, Toy Story 5. The announcement was made on Monday during the Disney licensing Expo presentation.

He admitted that he initially asked to play the role of Woody, but was told that Tom Hanks had already been cast. O’Brien joked that he then tried to pursue the role of Buzz Lightyear, but lost out to Tim Allen.

O’Brien revealed that he was introduced to a new character, Smarty Pants, which he claims is the best character of all. He said, "I don’t even want to play Woody or Buzz anymore, even if you ask me.
