Introduction to Vaibhav Suryavanshi
The Indian Batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the youngest player who met a senior T20 century on Monday with a few years and 32 days. The teenager had already written history in November 2024 when he was the youngest player at the age of 13, who was sold at the annual auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in which the teams fight for players.
Tumble Records
On April 19, Suryavanshi gave his Ipl debut for the Rajasthan Royals – he was the youngest player who was seen in the tournament – and announced himself with style when he met a six of the first ball to whom he was confronted. Nine days later he broke several records when he achieved the second fastest hundred in the history of the competition, with only 35 balls reaching the milestone.
Reaction to the Achievement
"It feels really good," said Suryavanshi. "It is like a dream to achieve a century in the IPL. The result shows what I have practiced in the past three or four months."
"I only see the ball and the game. It was a dream to get a 100 in the IPL, and today he has materialized. There is no fear. I don’t think much, I only concentrate on playing."
Performance in the IPL
He made a contract for the lucrative T20 tournament last November when he was sold for the eight-week competition to the Royals for 11 million rupees (approximately 125,000 euros). In just his third game of the IPL, he shared a 166-run opening stand with Yashasvi Jaiswal, 70 not from 40 balls, on the way to his score of 101.
Indian Stars React to Suryavanshi’s Heroic Deeds
A number of former Indian cricket stars reacted to Suryavanshis Inning, with the former captain and the Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar praising the all-round style of the teenager. "Vaibhav’s fearless approach, bat speed, early length and the transmission of the energy behind the ball was the recipe behind a fabulous inning. End of the end: 101 runs 38 balls. Well played !!"
Reactions from Other Indian Cricket Stars
Yuvraj Singh Suryavanshi’s ability emphasized that some of the best bowlers in the world in the world were knocking down. "What did you do at 14? !! This child takes over the best bowl in the world without flashing an eyelid! Vaibhav Suryavanshi – remember the name! Play with a fearless attitude." The former cricket player and 1983 Indian World Cup winner Kris Srikkanth also stated his reactions. "At the age of 14 Dream & Eat Ice Cream. Vaibhav Suryavamshi delivers a fabulous 100 against one of the competitors for IPL! Serenity, great and courage over his years. We are experiencing the rise of a phenoma.
