Kandi Burruss, the 49-year-old star of Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/em>, is set to return to the Broadway stage later this year. She will be joining the cast of the Tony-nominated jukebox musical & Julia<\/em>, a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet<\/em> set to the music of Max Martin.<\/p>\n & Julia<\/em> is a newly interpreted variant of the classic Romeo and Juliet<\/em> story, featuring popular pop songs from songwriter Max Martin’s catalog. The musical will be performed at the Stephen Sondheim Theater, with Burruss taking on the role of Ang\u00e9lique, Juliet Capulet’s close friend and nurse, starting December 11th. Her last performance is scheduled for March 8, 2026.<\/p>\n Burruss is no stranger to Broadway, having made her debut in the hit musical Chicago<\/em> in 2018 during her long-running tenure on Bravo’s RHOA<\/em>. In 2009, Burruss joined RHOA<\/em>, where she endeared herself to fans over the course of 14 seasons before leaving the show in early 2024 to pursue an acting career.
