Emmy-nominated filmmaker Sonja O’Hara and writer and director Adam Hoelzel are teaming up as co-directors for a new sci-fi thriller called loop<\/em>. They wrote the script together and plan to start filming in Los Angeles this winter. <\/p>\n loop<\/em> follows the story of Ro, a brilliant but distraught mycologist, and her ruthless ex Jax as they try out a radical new drug designed to eliminate their attraction to toxic partners. This unique storyline explores themes of relationships and addiction, making it a gripping watch for audiences.<\/p>\n The feature film is executive produced by Independent Spirit Award winner Corey Moosa under the banner A Group of Ferrets, along with corporate partners David Hopwood and Michael K. Dwyer. The production team also includes O’Hara, Hoelzel, and Mars of Besties Make Movies as producers, with additional executive producers Calvin Roszak, Raechel Zarzynski, Nikki Skelly, and Omar Sharif Jr.<\/p>\n Casting for the film is currently underway, with Rachel Imbriglio and Walter Ware from Brigs \/ Ware Casting leading the charge.
