This series will offer a global and cross-generational lens to explore topics such as migration, resistance, gender, identity, and collective liberation. The series will feature a range of films, including Taiwan&#8217;s official Oscar entry in 2025, <em>The Left-Handed Girl<\/em>, directed by Tsou Shih-Ching.<\/p>\n<h2>Special Programs and Screenings<\/h2>\n<p>The series will include several special programs and screenings, including the Oscar winner Ben Proudfoot&#8217;s <em>Eyes of Ghana<\/em> and Palestine&#8217;s official 2025 Oscar entry, <em>Palestine 36<\/em>, directed by Annemarie Jacir. Additionally, there will be an anniversary screening of Jennie Livingston&#8217;s <em>Paris Burns<\/em>. A showcase of films by women from around the world will also be presented, along with a Black Panther triple header of films by Ryan Coogler, Stanley Nelson, and Agn\u00e8s Varda.<\/p>\n<h2>Community Engagement<\/h2>\n<p>&quot;Array 360 calls in, not only to watch films, but to discuss the ideas in them,&quot; said Array&#8217;s EVP for public programs, Mercedes Cooper. &quot;The selected films focus on the urgent, overlooked, and beautiful people, as shown on the screen.&quot; All events are free of charge for the community and will take place between October 4 to November 8th on the Array Creative Campus in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<h2>Weekly Lineup<\/h2>\n<p>The series will feature a range of events and screenings each week, including:<\/p>\n<h3>Week 1<\/h3>\n<p>The opening presentation of <em>The Left-Handed Girl<\/em> by filmmaker Tsou Shih-Ching.<\/p>\n<h3>Week 2<\/h3>\n<p>A journey through global works by women, including Marion Wong&#8217;s <em>The Curse of Quon Gwon<\/em> (1916), Merata Mita&#8217;s <em>Mauri<\/em> (1988), and Sarah Maldoror&#8217;s <em>Sambizanga<\/em> (1972).<\/p>\n<h3>Week 3<\/h3>\n<p>A Black Panthers X3 triple header, featuring Stanley Nelson&#8217;s <em>The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution<\/em> (2015), Ryan Coogler&#8217;s <em>Black Panther<\/em> (2018), and Agn\u00e8s Varda&#8217;s <em>Black Panthers<\/em> (1968).<\/p>\n<h3>Week 4<\/h3>\n<p>A Spotlight presentation of <em>Hedda<\/em> (2025) with director Nia DaCosta and actress Nina Hoss, followed by a presentation of <em>Blknws: General Terms and Conditions<\/em> by Kahlil Joseph.<\/p>\n<h3>Week 5<\/h3>\n<p>A day of discourse, featuring films such as <em>The Eyes of Ghana<\/em> (2025) and <em>Palestine 36<\/em> (2025), followed by a celebration of the legacy of <em>Paris Burns<\/em> with a 35th-anniversary screening.<\/p>\n<h3>Week 6<\/h3>\n<p>A panorama celebration of Gregory Nava&#8217;s classic work, featuring screenings of <em>El Norte<\/em> (1984), <em>My Family<\/em> (1995), and <em>Why Do Fools Fall in Love<\/em> (1998), along with a special conversation with Gregory Nava.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Introduction to Array 360 Ava Duvernay&#8217;s array has announced the year 2025 for its annual cinema and conversation series, Array 360.
