The new film, "Blue Smurf Ice Cream", written by Laia Soler, is a heartwarming family drama that explores the relationships between adult siblings as they navigate their aging parents’ needs. The story delves into the consequences of the "Brain Drain" triggered by the 2008 financial crisis.<\/p>\n
\u00e0lex Lora has extensive experience in documentary filmmaking, with credits including "Your Father’s Chair" and editor roles in other films. "Blue Smurf Ice Cream" will be his second solo fictional feature film, following "Unicorn". The project has received support from the Spanish ICAA film institute and development support from the ICEC of Catalonia, with regional broadcasters on board.<\/p>\n
