This fiction film is one of the selected works that will be showcased at the Venice production bridge.<\/p>\n<h2>About the Selected Projects<\/h2>\n<p>&quot;Stand on the ruins&quot; is a fiction film that was selected as part of the Final Cut in Venice program. The entire laboratory is open to projects from African countries and Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen. The director of Palestinian-UK, Farouky, previously made three feature documentaries, including 2021&#8217;s &quot;A thousand fires&quot; which debuted in Locarno.<\/p>\n<h2>Other Selected Titles<\/h2>\n<p>Other fiction titles selected for the Final Cut program include &quot;The station&quot; by Yemeni filmmaker Sara Ishaq, about a woman who has difficulty thinking of burning her station for women in the middle of a fuel crisis. Ishaq&#8217;s 2014 title &quot;Karama has no walls&quot; was nominated for the best documentary short Oscar.<\/p>\n<h2>The Final Cut Program<\/h2>\n<p>The Final Cut program consists of three days of activities from August 31 to September 2 during the Venice production bridge. The program offers various prizes, including \u20ac5,000 from La Biennale di Venezia for the best film in post-production. Additionally, partners such as the Saudi Arabia Red Sea Fund will also offer prizes.<\/p>\n<h2>The 82nd Venice Film Festival<\/h2>\n<p>The 82nd Venice Film Festival runs from August 27th to September 6th.
