Donald Trump has agreed to send top-of-the-line military equipment to NATO to support Ukraine and threaten Russia with severe tariffs if it does not agree to end the war. In a meeting with the NATO Secretary General at the White House, the US President said that the deal includes sending weapons worth billions of dollars to NATO, which will be quickly spread to the battlefield.<\/p>\n
The weapons include surface-to-air Patriot rocket systems and batteries that Ukraine has asked for to defend itself against Russian air strikes. The US President emphasized that these are top-of-the-line military equipment that will help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression.<\/p>\n
Mr. Trump also expressed his frustration with Russia and threatened heavy tariffs of approximately 100% if there is no deal to terminate the war in Ukraine within 50 days. The White House added that the United States would put secondary sanctions against countries that buy oil from Russia if no agreement is made.<\/p>\n
