Distrib Films has acquired the US rights to the Corsican director Frederic Farrucci’s second feature, The Mohican<\/em>. This film was premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival in the Horizonts additional section.<\/p>\n The film tells the story of a goatherd on the Corsican coast who has put pressure on the local mafia to leave his country. However, he finds himself a victim of a search for a man who has been sent to intimidate him. The cast includes Alexis Manenti, Mara Taquin, Pietri Th\u00e9o Frimigacci, Paul Garatte, and Marie-Pierre Nouveau.<\/p>\n For films that process international sales for the film, which has already been sold to several areas. Ad Vitam released the film in France in February, where it sold more than 100,000 tickets (\u20ac 730,000).
