This year&#8217;s festival includes the horror film &quot;The Morrigan&quot; by Irish director Colum Eastwood and the documentary film &quot;Calmly on the Set&quot; by Mark Forbes.<\/p>\n<h2>Featured Films<\/h2>\n<p>&quot;The Morrigan&quot; follows an archaeologist who uncovers a mummified figure, unleashing an ancient evil on her team. Some of the other titles include Ru\u00e1n Magan&#8217;s &quot;Hut&quot;, about the discovery of a body in a rural village, and Lance Daly&#8217;s &quot;Trading&quot;, about a talented young violin player. The festival will also feature a number of Irish-language world premieres, including &quot;Hut&quot; and &quot;Trading&quot;.<\/p>\n<h2>World Cinema Competition<\/h2>\n<p>The World Cinema competition features a selection of international films, including Gabriel Mascaro&#8217;s Berlin Silver Bear winner &quot;The Blue Path&quot;, Chun-Teng&#8217;s Taiwanese drama &quot;Eel&quot;, and Mathijs Poppe&#8217;s Idfa premiere &quot;The Jacket&quot;. The competition has a prize fund of \u20ac3,000.<\/p>\n<h2>Industry Events<\/h2>\n<p>The Galway Film Fleadh will also feature a number of industry events, including a masterclass with &quot;The Apprentice&quot; director Ali Abbasi and a keynote speech by US producer Christine Vachon.
