The presentation also featured some of Disney&#8217;s latest achievements, including three films that played more than $1 billion at the global box office last year: <em>Inside Out 2<\/em>, <em>Deadpool &amp; Wolverine<\/em>, and <em>Moana 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>Pixar: New and Original Stories<\/h2>\n<p>Pixar&#8217;s upcoming releases include <em>Elio<\/em> and <em>Hopper<\/em>, an original story about a young environmental activist who &quot;jumps&quot; into the body of a beaver. The marketers plan to use these sequences in meme-friendly content to promote the movie.<\/p>\n<h2>Lucasfilm and Searchlight Pictures<\/h2>\n<p>By Lucasfilm, <em>The Mandalorian and Grogu<\/em> will be the first big-screen adventure for the characters from the Disney+ series, offering &quot;larger scale&quot; and &quot;wider adventure.&quot; Jon Favreau will direct, and Pedro Pascal will star alongside Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen. Searchlight&#8217;s Rebecca Kearey presented two upcoming titles: <em>Is That Thing On?<\/em> and <em>Wild Horse Nine<\/em>, followed by introductions to <em>Ready or Not 2: I&#8217;m Coming for You<\/em>, <em>Rental Family<\/em>, and <em>The Roses<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>20th Century Studios<\/h2>\n<p>The 20th Century Studios presentation included seven new films, with director Dan Trachtenberg&#8217;s <em>Predator: Badlands<\/em> making the predator character the hero of the adventure.
