Actor Tom Felton will join the Broadway Company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child<\/em> for a limited engagement this year. He will reprise his role as Draco Malfoy, which he played in all eight Harry Potter films. Felton will begin his residency at the Lyric Theater in New York City on November 11th and will stay with the show until March 22, 2026.<\/p>\n Harry Potter and the Cursed Child<\/em> takes place 19 years after the original series ended, following Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco as they send their children to Hogwarts. The play is based on an original story by JK Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany. It has been open at the West End in London since 2016 and on Broadway since 2018, with productions also installed in cities around the world, including Hamburg, Melbourne, Toronto, and Tokyo.<\/p>\n "Being part of the Harry Potter films was one of the greatest honors of my life," said Felton in a statement.
