For the first time in the almost 70-year history of Billboard’s album chart, two Spanish-speaking albums have taken the top spots. Bad Bunny’s "Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Photos" and Fuerza Regida’s "111xpantia" are making history with their debut.<\/p>\n
"Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Photos" is the number one album in the United States, with a total of 84,500 equivalent album units. This is the fourth overall week at number one for the album, which spent three consecutive weeks at the peak from January 25th. The 17-song set has returned to the top spot after its first publication on vinyl.<\/p>\n
Fuerza Regida’s "111xpantia" has debuted in second place, achieving a total of 76,000 units with 39,000 album sales and 50 million streams. With 39,000 copies sold, "111" has exceeded the largest sales week for a regional Mexican album, surpassing Selena’s "Amor Prohibido" which sold 36,000 copies in 1995.<\/p>\n
"111xpantia" is not only the Spanish-speaking album of a duo or group with the highest debut but also the regional Mexican musical album with the highest debut, as reported by Billboard. This album has broken records and has become the biggest debut on Billboard for the band, led by Jesus Ortiz Paz (JOP) with Joseph "Pel\u00f3n\u00f3n" Garc\u00eda, Mois\u00e9s, Khrystian Ramos, and Samuel Jaimez.<\/p>\n
The second debut in the top 10 of the list this week comes from Rapper Key Glock and "Glockaveli", who debuted in 8th place with 34,000 units. The 18-song set was also expanded with a deluxe edition with another three tracks.<\/p>\n
As for the remaining top titles, Sza’s "SOS" has changed to number 3 from number 2, Morgan Wallen’s "one thing after the other" is at number 4, Kendrick Lamar’s "Gnx" is at number 5, Sabrina Carpenter’s "Short N ‘Sweet" is at number 6, PartyNextdoor and Drakes "$ ome $ exy $ Ongs 4 u" are at number 7, and Wallen logs his second simultaneous top 10 album with "Dangerous: The Double Album" to number 9.
